1-2-1 Tutoring and Teacher Support

Unfortunately I am fully booked for tutoring at the moment, but please email me if you are interested should a spot open in the summer term.

I am now able to offer 1-2-1 online tutoring for A-Level students following the AQA syllabus through Zoom at a convenient time for both of us.

The sessions would be 1 hour in length and charged at £25 per session you can choose how many or a few sessions you require. Each session will be focused on a specific area that you (the student) need help with, whether that be exam technique or going over content, and this will be agreed upon before the start of the session. Payment is due before the session and payments are made via PayPal.

Before your first session, I will ask you to complete a diagnostic questionnaire to identify the main areas you would like to go over and your confidence in various exam techniques. This way we can ensure that we are as focused as possible so that you can get the most out of your hour.

The sessions will be tailored to your specific need, and I will use screen sharing to take you through the content of that session.

Exam Technique Sessions:

The exam technique session will break down the exam-style questions, make sure you know exactly what the question is asking you to do, using the planning sheets and sentence starters to help you construct your answer.   I will not make you do any additional essays or exam practice, but I am willing to look over the work you complete independently.

Content Focused Sessions:

In these sessions, we will go over a specific area of the specification, filling in any gaps in your knowledge or misconceptions that you might have. I will use lots of different resources to help with your understanding again there will be no extra homework as these sessions are aimed at supporting what you are doing in class, not giving you more to do.
